Scrambling to scandent woody shrub or tree to 4m with stellate-tomentose branches. Dentate glabrate leaves to 150mm long. Many-flowered cymes. Fragrant flowers, pale green calyx to 1.5mm long, white corolla to 3.5mm long. Glabrous drupe ripening purple to black to 4.5mm long.
