Scandent shrub to 2m with glabrescent branchlets. 5-foliolate leaves to 180mm, leaflets to 100mm x 30mm,,pubescent above, rusty-tomentose beneath. Terminal panicles to 100mm long of 17mm purple to pale pink flowers. Brown hairy inflated seed pods to 100mm x 15mm with beaked apex.
