Liana to 20m with glabrescent stems. 5-foliolate leaves to 400mm long, leaflets to 200mm x 80mm.Tterminal panicles to 200mm of 20mm scarlet flowers. Inflated hairy brown seed pods to 130mm long x 25mm with beaked apex.

Poisonous seeds

Roots & stems have medicinal uses. Seeds poisonous & used as insecticide.
