Liana with glabrescent branchlets. 5 or 7 foliolate leaves to 350mm long, leaflets to 200mm x 60mm, pubescent above & villous beneath. Terminal panicles to 400mm long of 17mm red flowers. Hairy dark brown seed pods to 80mm long x 22mm becoming glabrescent with hooked beak.
