Liana to 6m with brown rough stems. 3-5 foliolate leaves to 350mm long, leaflets to 220mm x 100mm. glabrous above, glabrescent beneath. Axillary pubescent panicles to 180mm long, 23mm lilac to mauve flowers. Yellow hairy inflated seed pods to 90mm long x 30mm.
