Rattan palm to 20m+. Spiny leaves to 3m+, spines to 40mm x 5mm, leaflets to 550mm x 20mm with bristly margins. Male inflorescence to 800mm long, male flowers to 4mm long, female inflorescence to 300mm long. Dark brown fruit 15mm diameter in 18 vertical rows.
