Climber. Stem sheaths with spines to 19mm x 1.5mm. Flagellum to 1.3m long, leaf to 710mm long with 16-24 leaflets each side, largest to 290mm x 22mm. Staminate inflroescence with branches to 220mm long with rachillae to 50mm x 2.5mm, rachilla bracts to 3mm x 2mm. Staminate flowers 3mm x 2mm, calyx 2.5mm x 1mm, lobes to 0.5mm x 0.5mm, petals to 2mm x 0.7mm. Pistillate inflorescence to 1m long with branches to 280mm long, rachillae to 59mm x 3mm, bracts to 4mm x 2mm. Pistillate flowers to 4.5mm x 2.5mm, calyx 4mm x 2.5mm, lobes 1.5mm x 1.5mm, petals 4mm x 1mm. Brown fruit 6mm diameter.
