Fruiting Times
Climbing rattan palm to 30m, armed with bristles & spines. Leaves to 1.2m, leaf margins armed, segments 500mm x 25mm. Male spadix with flowers 2mm long with bracteoles, yellow-brown calyx to 1mm with 3 lobes, yellow corolla. Female spadix similar to 180mm with spikelets to 70mm, calyx to 1.5mm with 3 lobes, yellow-green corolla to 3mm. Fruit to 12mm x 8mm.
