Bristly & spiny climbing rattan palm to 5m. Leaf sheath with brown hairs & spines to 20mm. Flagellum to 1m. Leaf to 500mm with 4-12 leaflets per side, leaflets to 300mm x 40mm. Inflorescence to 700mm. Whitish fruit to 15mm x 10mm.
