Fruiting Times
Tall spiny climbing palm to 60m. Leaf sheaths covered wth yellowish spines to 10mm long. Fronds to 2.4m, climbing by hooks on leaves, 500 leaflets per side, cirrus to 1m long. Inflorescence to 1.5m long, spathe green. Female inflorescence to 600mm. Axillary infructescence to 300mm long, pale green fruit to 8mm x 4mm.
