Climbing palm. Leaves to 1.8m long with sheath with spines to 40mm long. 20-30 leaflets each side to 375mm x 30mm. Spadix to 1.8m long with thorns, spathe to 375mm long with spicules to 50mm long. Berry to 15mm long.
