Climbing rattan palm to 10m. Stem sheaths with spines to 4mm long. Flagellum to 1.5m. Leaf to 600mm, 33-40 leaflets per side, longest to 140mm x 12.5mm, bristly above. Inflorescences to 800mm long with rachillae to 20mm.
