Fruiting Times
Robust climbing clustering spiny rattan palm to 25m. Leaf sheath armed with spines to 30mm. Leaves to 3m long with cirrus a further metre, about 30 leaflets per side, leaf segments to 500mm x 40mm. Male inflorescence to 3m,spathes to 60mm, 6-10 male spikelets each side to 180mm, male flowers 3mm long. Female inflorescence armed spadix to 2m long, spikelets to 80mm. Fruit 34mm x 25mm
