Climbing rattan palm. Leaf to 6m long with spines, 35 leaflets each side, largest to 750mm x 45mm, armed with bristles. Inflorescence to 2m+, male flowers to 7mm x 4.5mm, female inflorescence to 80mm x 5mm, female flower 11mm x 6mm. mature fruit to 45mm x 20mm with a short beak.
