Climber to 20, Leaf to 900mm long armed with spines to 4mm x 1.5mm, flagellum to 2.5m long with grapnel spines. 2-5 leaflets per side, leaflets to 520mm x 100mm with spiny margins. Staminate inflorescence to 350mm long, rachis wiht bracts to 530mm x 8mm, rachillae to 40mm x 3mm with bracts to 1mm x 2.5mm & a braceteole to 1mm x 2mm. Pistillate inflorescence to 330mm long with rachillae to 37mm x 5mm, rachillae bracts to 1.5mm x 2mm, floral bracteole to 3mm x 2mm. Pistillate flowers 5m x 2.2mm, calyz 2.2mm diameter, 3 lobes to 1mm x 1.5mm, corolla 3.5mm x 2.2mm, 3 lobes 1.5mm x 1.5mm. Beaked fruit 13mm x 11mm.
