Fruiting Times
Climbing rattan palm to 20m. Sheaths with black spines to 80mm long. Leaf to 1.5m, cirrus to 600mm long. 20-50 leaflets per side, longest to 220mm x 15mm. Inflorescence to 300mm long with spiny bracts. Beaked fruit to 14mm diameter.
Cane used in basketry. Fruit eaten.
