Slender clustering climbing rattan to 25m. Sheaths with black spines to 10mm long. Leaf to 1.5m with cirrus of 750mm, 12 unarmed leaflets per side, longest to 350mm x 55mm. Mature fruit to 15mm x 17mm with a small beak.
