Climber to 15m. Leaves to 5m long with spines to 47mm x 10mm, 14-25 leaflets per side, longest to 400mm x 68mm, cirrus at apex to 2m with grapnel spines. Staminate inflorescence to 1.3mm long with bracts, rachillae to 21mm x 1mm with bracts to 7mm x 1.2mm. Staminate flowers to 8.6mm x 2.2mm, calyx 2.2mm diameter with 3 lobes to 0.4mm x 1.5mm, corolla to 3.2mm x 2mm. Pistillate inflorescence to 2m long with bracts to 30mm x 1.6mm, floral bracteoles to 1.8mm x 2mm. {Pistillate flowers to 3.7mm x 2.2mm with calyx to 2.2mm diameter & 3 lobes to 0.5mm x 1mm, corolla to 3mm x 1.5mm with 3 lobes to 1mm x 0,7mm. beaked fruit to 12.8mm x 10mm. beak to 2mm long.
