Climbing clustering rattan palm to 10m. Stem sheaths with spines to 30mm long & erect spines to 180mm. Leaf to 2.5m long with 35 leaflets per side, largest to 400mm x 20mm. Inflorescence to 600mm long, flowers to 7mm. Beaked black fruit to 30mm x 20mm.
