Slender spiny climbing rattan palm to 10m. Leaf sheaths with spines to 50mm. Leaves to 700mm long with 5-10 pinnae per side, leaflets to 250mm x 35mm, cirrus to 50mm. Inflorescence to 60mm. Yellowish fruit to 80mm diameter.
