Climbing evergreen twining & prickly scrambling palm to 15mwith curved hooks. 6-12 leaflets to 160mm x 35mm, bilobed terminal leaflet. Whitish flowers, male flowers in panicles, tepals to 4mm x 1mm. Female flowers 2mm diameter, tepals to 2.3mm long. Yellow-orange globular berries to 10mm diameter at end of a spiny tendril 1m long.
