Fruiting Times
Climbing clustering rhizomatous palm, scandent stems to 100m+. Striate leaf sheaths with spines to 20mm long, leaves to 1.5m long with long cirrus to 50mm long, 15 leaflets per side, leaflets to 300mm x 55mm with spiny margin at apex. Female spadix to 1.5m with spines, female rachillae to 100mm long. Male spadix to 2.5m, yellowish male flowers to 4mm long. Beaked fruit to 22mm x 13mm with yellow scales.
