Spiny climbing palm to 20m. Spiny leaf sheaths, paipinnate leaves 850mm long with 5-6 leaflets 200mm x 90mm. Spadix to 100mm with bracts, female flower 3.5mm x 2mm with calyx tube to 2.5mm & lobes to 0.5mm, Yellow fruit 18mm x 14mm.
