Climbing palm, scrambling to 3m. Leaf to 500mm long with a few spines to 7mm long, 4-6 leaflets per side, leaflets to 150mm x 26m. Beaked fruit.Inflorescenvce to 700mm long with red indumentum. Male & female inflorescences with rachillae to 30mm long.
