Climbing palm with spiny leaves 800mm long with 12-16 segments, segments 250mm x 14mm. Male spadix 350mm long with spathes to 90mm, male flowers 5mm x 1.5mm, calyx tube to 2mm corolla 4mm, female spadix similar to male, 2mm x 3.5mm. Fruit to 15mm x 12mm.
