Hispid twiner, stinging hairs on all parts. Pinnatifid coarsely-toothed leaves, setose above & tomentose beneath to 200mm x 35mm, deeply dentate or lobulate with 7 pairs. Axillary few-flowered cymes 2-4 orange-yellow flowers, calyx tube to 8mm x 5mm with pubescent dentate lobes to 15mm long, petals to 24mm x 15mm. Spiralled scabrous setose capsule to 32mm x 17mm.
