Fruiting Times
Densely hairy liana or tree. Coriaceous leaves to 270mm x 130mm, glabrous above, rufescent-tomentose beneath. 2-3 flowered racemes to 210mm long with bracts to 10mm x 2mm ,of yellow flowers 40mm diameter with bracteoles to 5mm x 2mm,sepals to 4mm x 2.5mm, petals to 7mm. Fruit a glabrescent drupe maturing orange, to 18mm diameter.
Said to produce edible fruit used to make refreshing drink
