Woody parasitic scrambler to 3m with hairy stems becoming glabrate . 3-lobed pinnatifid hairy leaves with coarse teeth. Solitary axillary flowers with bracts to 10mm x 3mm, mauve-pink or white flowers, 4-5 lobed calyx 20mm long with lobes to 6mm long, 5-lobed funnel-shaped corolla to 60mm long somewhat curved with tube to 40mm long, lobes to 25mm x 25mm. Brown woody capsule to 15mm long with persistent calyx lobes.
