Very large twining shrub or liana to 15m with glabrous branches. 3-foliolate hairy leaves to 400mm x 300mm,leaflets velvety beneath. Racemes to 300mm long of 80mm orange-scarlet flowers, toothed calyx. Pod to 150mm long.
