Scandent or erect glabrous epiphytic herb to 2m. Toothed leaves with sinuate margins 150mm x 50mm. Axillary green flowers tinted purple 50mm long with purplish calyx, denticulate sepals to 25mm long, glabrous green & very dark corolla to 25mm, tube to 16mm long, upper lobes 18mm x 5mm, lateral lobes 11mm x 3.5mm, filament tube to 32mm long. Green & maroon inflated berry to 60mm x 25mm with wide calyx lobes.
