Occasionally scandent hemi-epiphytic herb or shrub with fleshy glabrous stems suffused maroon. Fleshy slightly serrate glabrous leaves to 140mm x 40mm. Solitary axillary flowers, calyx lobes to 20mm x 2mm, glabrous corolla, pale pink to maroon 28mm long with tube 16mm x 3mm & lobes to 16mm x 4mm. Fleshy pink glabrous berry to 25mm x 14mm.
