Epiphytic herb, suhrub or climber to 2.5m with puberulous stems. Leaves to 160mm x 70mm with serrulate or denticulate margin, pubewrulous on veins above or glabrate, puberulous on veins beneath, juvenile leaves pinnatifid, purple beneath. Axillary solitary green flowers with purple markings, to 40mm long, with bracts to 70mm long, calyx lobes to 9mm x 1.2mm, corolla tube to 18mm long with lobes to 13mm long. Pink berry to 15mm x 12mm.
