Liana or tree to 4m with glabrate stems. Leaves to 140mm x 65mm, glbrate above, hairy beneath. Axillary or rarely terminal inflorescences to 100mm long with bracts of 4-26 flowers, yellow flowers with bracteoles to 1mm long, sepals 2mm long, petals to 6mm x 4.5mm, claw to 4mm long. Orange-red glabrate fruits 8mm x 8mm.
