Climbing epiphytic orchid, rhizone to 5mm thick covered in persistent fibres 20mm long. Pseudobulbs to 30mm high with single coriaceous leaf to 250mm long. Solitary sweetly scented flowers to 40mm diameter, whitish dorsal sepals & petals with dense purple spotting, later al sepals yellow with purple spots
