Often climbing shrub to 20m, tomentose branchlets.Tomentose leaves to 150mm x 70mm, sometimes lobes near base, glabrescent above & pilose beneath. Tomentose terminal & axillary panicles to 250mm x 250mm, sweet-scented or malodorant flowers dull white with orange-red throat to 9mm, panicles to 250mm, toothed hairy calyx to 5mm x 3mm with lobes to 1mm x 1mm, corolla to 12mm long, pubescent lobed corolla tube 6mm long with lobes to 5mm. Hairy capsule to 6mm x 1.8mm.
