Scrambling evergreen shrub or small tree to 3.5m, branchlets densely covered in white hairs. Leaves to 130mm x 50mm with serrate margins, glabrous above, white tomentose beneath. Perfumed 11mm cream or lilac flowers in large terminal or axillary panicles to 250mm x 200mm, green calyx to 2.2mm long with lobes to 1mm x 1mm, creamy white corolla with orange or pink-red throat, lobes to 11mm long. Fruit a capsule to 4mm x 1.5mm.
