Scandent shrub or climber to 5m. Serrated leaves to 80mm x 30mm, sparsely hairy above, tomentose beneath. Yellow flowers, dioecious, male inflorescence to 25mm long, male flowers with 3-4 lobed calyx, female inflorescence globose. Fruit to 10mm diameter with barbed hairs.
