Twining shrub or liana, lenicellate stems. Leaves to 100mm x 60mm, glabrous above, silky beneath. Terminal or axillary many-flowered racemes or panicles with bracts & bracteoles of faintly fragrant yellow flowers to 14mm diameter, sepals to 2.5mm x 3mm, yellow petals to 6mm x 4mm with a claw to 2mm x 1.5mm. Samaras to 50mm x 20mm with nut to 6mm x 6mm.
