Scandent twining shrub with glabrescent lenticellate branches. Glabrous coriaceous leaves to 145mm x 62mm, glabrous above, glabrescent rusty beneath. Terminal or axillary racemes or panicles with bracts & bracteoles to 1.5mm, 6-10 13mm diameter yellow flowers, sepals to 3mm x 3mm, petals to 5mm x 4mm. Pubescent fruit with erect wings, samaras 22mm x 10mm, nut 6mm x 6mm.
