Semi-climbing tree, shrub or liana with branches becoming glabrous & lenticellate. Leaves glabrous above, hairy beneath to 180mm long. Axillary & terminal panicles or racemes of pink or yellow flowers to 14mm diameter, sepals to 2.5mm long, glabrous petals to 7mm. Puberulent brownish-red samaras, wings 35mm x 10mm.
