Glabrescent liana, creeper, shrub or small tree to 3.5m with coriaceous leaves to 100mm x 30mm glabrous above, pubescent beneath. Axillary or terminal many-flowered panicles, umbels or corymbs to 50mm with bracts to 5mm long of yellow flowers to 14mm diameter, red petals to 6mm. Brown fruit with persistent style.
