Twining woody perennial coarse liana to 10m with glabrescent stems. Coriaceous tomentose leaves to 90mm x 35mm. Axillary solitary or cymes of 2 to few flowers, with tomentose bracts. 25mm flowers white to greenish, produced singly or in clusters of three, 2 exterior sepals to 10mm x 8mm, 3 tomentose inner sepals 7mm x 7mm, white, yellow-brown or greenish corolla to 22mm x 16mm. Pendent tan to yellow-brown capsule to 15mmx 10mm.
