Perennial woody twiner with tomentose stems. Mucronaye leaves to 40mm x 23mm, glabrescent above & tomentose beneath. Blue or yellow flowers in solitary or few-flowered axillary racemes or cymes with tomentose bracts to 4mm long, coriaceous tomentose sepals to 6mm x 5mm, inner sepals 5.5mm x 5mm, pale yellow hairy corolla to 18mm long.
