High-climbing perennial woody liana to 7m or erect shrub, with twining glabrous stems, white lenticels on old branches. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 70mm x 35mm. Solitary axillary flowers or few-flowered cymes or racemes with 1.5mm long bracts, yellow flowers, coriaceous glabrous sepals 8mm x 6mm, yellow or yellowish-white corolla to 20mm long with 5 pilose lobes. Glabrous woody capsule to 15mm x 13mm.
