Rhizomatous herbaceous climber with glabrous stems. Leaves to 110mm x 35mm, glabrous above, pilose on nerves beneath, bracts to 70mm x 25mm. Umbels to 250mm long with bracteoles to 15mm x 2mm, flowers reddish-pink outside, yellow inside, green-tipped, purple spotted within, sepals to 25mm x 12mm, petals to 25mm x 11m. Turbinate orange fruit to 20mm diameter.
