Rhizomatous climbing vine with glabrous stems. Glabrous leaves to 200mm x 70mm, scaberulous beneath, numerous tomentulous bracts to 20mm x 10mm. Tomentulous umbels with bractlet to 10mm long, pink sepals to 30mm x 7mm, petals to 40mm x 14mm, white with purple spots inside, green tips. Pale green fruits.
