Herbaceous glabrous tuberous-rooted, erect, trailing or climbing with glabrous stems. Leaves to 150mm x 40mm glabrous above, pilose or strigillose on nerves beneath, bracts to 40mm long. Pilose umbels with a bractlet to 5mm long, pale pink green-tipped flowers, white inside, red sepals to 30mm x 10mm, red or pink & green-tipped, petals slightly shorter than sepals pale green spotted brown. Pale green fruit to 15mm diameter
