Rhizomatous climbing vine. Coriaceous leaves to 35mm x 3mm, glabrous above, villous beneath, bracts to 40mm x 10mm. Glabrous umbels with single bractlet, red flowers tipped green, sepals to 20mm long, petals slightly shorter & 12mm wide.
