Pubescent or glabrous herbaceous tuberous twiner. Leaves to 110mm x 32mm. Terminal pendulous umbels of up to 25 flowers, 43mm pink to purple or red with greyish-green at tip & brown spots and yellow-green flowers, calyx pink, corolla greenish-white with dark spots.
Roots eaten by local Indians.
