Twining rhizomatous vine with glabrous stems & leaves. Leaves to 50mm x 15mm. Umbels to 300mm diameter, horned sepals to 20mm long with horn 3mm long, petals to 20mm x 7mm, outer petals purple, inner ones greenish mottled maroon with green tips.
